Harlem Globetrotters promotion
Howard Johnson partnered with the Harlem Globetrotters for their 2009/2010 season as an extension of the Best of Summer program. The partnership was developed in conjunction with Howard Johnson USA, and the program gave customers that booked two consecutive nights with the Harlem Globetrotters rate code two tickets to any Harlem Globetrotter game across North America.
The program was promoted through web banners, television commercials, PPC ads, Digital Lobby Communication Network, POS materials, and an email marketing campaign. Howard Johnson Canada also partnership with Children’s Wish Foundation to give deserving children VIP tickets to the Globetrotters games in Canada, and generated donations for the foundation through promotion of their mobile giving during games.
